My only issue is that every time, a character’s name is mentioned, whether a new character or just one recurring in a new scene, the physical description follows. It is very much based on a true story, but I have massaged it into a tale that negates consumerism, one where, instead, the perfect Christmas gift arrives. It wasn't a sweet christmas book, it was more of someone watched their kid playing in the dollhouse, and wrote the story the kid invented. It's like I'm hovering over the scenes, and I can feel the magic she’s about to create pulse through my body. However, she has no recollection of the past 2 years, including the fact that she is engaged to another man. The actual coming together, and sharing our blessings I will always endorse, but the overindulging of our children leaves me a little cold. This was a truly delightful, heart-warming story from start to finish with lots of Christmas cosy feeling moments throughout.
