About this deal

This Chinese fantasy (xianxia) epic built around the desire between two men (danmei) has been translated into multiple languages and inspired a multimedia franchise in China. However the moment he is "brought back" to life he instantly fucks the guy he was sleeping with in a brothel to unconsciousness and steals his valuables, like even if he had wronged him in his previous life it's a pretty asshole thing to do. For my first point, in a literary and psychological point of view, the use of a main character that's the abuser usually makes the reader sympathize with him/her. These are just a few things that make multiple, minor appearances in the background, then you learn the backstory behind them--their symbolism--and it leaves you speechless. whereas mo ran is little meow meow levels of insane horny (in abject denial about his domestic fantasies and as a result reaches feats of obsessive rage henceforth unknown to man, needs to be pet like a little ankle-biting dog, moonlights as a professional good boy despite being a closet chu wanning stalker.

When I reached chapter 281 I encountered a message that said I need to wait one day before I can read any more free chapters. In this life, he'd started out as a bastard son who possessed nothing, and after enduring great deal, he'd become Lord Emperor of the Mortal Realm. Awakening in the body of his younger self—Mo Ran, a disciple of the cultivation sect Sisheng Peak—he discovers the chance to relive his life. I can't explain the level of discomfort I felt going into this novel with all these positive reviews and then feeling that have we fallen to the point that *this* novel has a rating of 9. First of all, the best part of 2ha--besides the passionate, heartrending romance--is undoubtedly the character development.

I would need a lifetime to come up with everything that happened in this first book, and it’s only the beginning of a huge series. In fact, I knew I should have guarded my heart, but like a fool, I bore through the wind and rain, shed sweat and cried blood before delivering my beating organ on a silver platter to meatbun (author). Disclaimer: I've never harassed anybody for liking erha, and I have many friends that are huge fans of it - which is why I tried reading it in the first place. As someone who never picks up fantasy romances expecting anything from the fantasy part-a lesson learned the hard way-, I was not expecting how much I loved all the fantasy elements. But a mature love where there are no need many words, It's just like "Knowing that I'm always by your side is enough.

I hope this English translation would accurately deliver Meatbun’s storytelling and hope that this edition would allow her to gain the fame that she deserves. Also Shi Mei, who was portrayed as a one-dimensional white lotus but actually had more depth to him than I thought he would. Not to mention even if he isn't really actively doing anything he is just being an asshole or a jerk throughout the whole novel, and it is clear to me that 2ha isn't trying to explore him as a morally wrong charatcer or at the very least it is extremely bad at doing so, I did not find him compelling for the most part of these 500 pages. Ultimately there are a lot of heavy feelings on both sides of that coin, as the hatred that Mo Ran originally felt for his Shizun was always of an obsessive, codependent nature that makes for a lot of incredibly hot, and very kinky smut. About the novel The Husky and His White Cat Shizun (二哈和他的白猫师尊) is a xianxia novel written by Meatbun Doesn't Eat Meat (肉包不吃肉) and published on JJWXC between 2017 and 2019.I can’t believe that a couple days ago I didn’t even know their names and now I feel consumed by the intensity of their tragic love story. Let's be honest, if we talk about Chinese cultivation novel then only a few will be able to keep up with the storyline of this novel. Thus, if I had to sum this novel up in a few words, it would be "abusive dog-blood novel but with bells and whistles". I really enjoy the story and this translation is amazing but I don't have no money, neither an access to my bank account so yh. Now with how similar the stories are, I was initially surprised with how different the reviews for these two novels were.

I've read lots of media for years and sure not all of them can be virg*ns but that lowers my opinion of the stories (like the type of overbearing president stories with the experienced CEO X innocent girl), UNLESS both lovers have prior s*xual experience, which makes it fair and even to me. The longer Mo Ran spends in his life reborn, the less he understands the man he once was, to say nothing of the teacher he so hated.Nevertheless it was introduced kinda weirdly and after the way Mo Ran is handled I do not trust the author to handle this character any better. He used to think that dogs should be with dogs, for example, his shixiong, beautiful and gentle, like a lovely Japanese Spitz, and the two of them together would surely be a match made in heaven. It was a fascinating ride to watch as these characters struggled through the mire of circumstance to bring healing and growth to a relationship that had previously been so tainted, and I was deeply invested in that growth and development. Be aware that he won’t shy away from telling you every single terrible thing he had done, so I wouldn’t recommend this if you can’t manage to enjoy very gray characters.

Edit: I see so many people comparing 2ha to MDZS and saying they're not going to watch "Immortality" (drama adaptation) because they already watched The Untamed, and it saddens me because 2ha honestly offers a unique and poignant, touching story of it's own. I was literally squealing when he started making all the right choices instead of the wrong ones (yes, Mo Ran, you're my baby! Read more about the condition New: A new, unread, unused book in perfect condition with no missing or damaged pages. It's hard to say I enjoyed this book, theres ASPECTS of it that I liked but for the most part I did not enjoy it or spent my time reading it rolling my eyes. Anyway fact is throughout the entire first volume which is like 500 pages, Mo Ran doesn't change one bit.

She even managed to make the flashbacks to Mo Ran’s previous life as addictive as the present tense, make us suffer with not knowing everything that had happened, everything that he had done while wanting to see him realize all the things he still was missing. Unlike the usual rebirth story, MC was a scum until death in his previous life and he continued to be somewhat scum in his second life until falling in love with ML and realising the wrong in his ways. The other lower-rated novel's MC was the shou, so from the shou's point of view the reader would feel the pain that the shou felt without any "reasons" given by the gong, so the reader would feel less inclined to sympathize with the abuser (even if the aubser was also coined as a "dumb husky type").
