An updated version of the logo followed with the United States map being white with “SYRACUSE Nationals” in a dark blue font inside it and blue stars surrounding the logo. In 1972, the team changed the logo to an almost “reverse Pacman” with “Atlanta Hawks” transcribed in red at the bottom of the logo and the outline of a Hawk serving as the “mouth” of the “reverse Pacman.” Bright yellows and blues were painted onto the court in a bid to attract locals and children to the game. The original Hornets franchise was founded in 1988 as an expansion team and unveiled the logo of a teal colored hornet dribbling a basketball with a lighter wordmark “CHARLOTTE” on top of the hornet with “HORNETS” at the bottom. Painting, printing, and lighting all use different color wheels, and for this mixture, they all have drastically different results. So, let’s take a closer look at each color wheel to decide what blue and yellow make in each scenario. What Color Do Blue and Yellow Make in Painting?

Also, in navy blue is the wordmark “Pacers.” There was a slight color iteration in 2012 when the bobcat color was turned to gray and the “BOBCATS” lettering is in white and the “CHARLOTTE” wordmark is in orange and inside the logo. In 1951 the logo was redrawn with its lines being strengthened and the color palette switched to blue and white. Most people see white as a positive color that’s filled with goodness, hope, and clarity. However, in some cases, it could be associated with negative feelings and considered empty, cold, and boring. It all depends on the context and who is perceiving the color. How Can Two Colors Mix Into Several Results? The current Grizzlies logo, updated for the 2018 season, shows a larger version of the grizzly bear, outlined in gray, with “MEMPHIS” having two darker tones of blue and “GRIZZLIES” being straight under “MEMPHIS” and in a darker blue, instead of being curved like the previous logo. Miami Heat The changes to the next logo in 2010 are minor. The team got rid of the light blue and instead have “JAZZ” in white with a yellow trim. The script diagonal “Warriors” inscription is placed over the image and balanced by a yellow feather in the man’s hair. 1951 — 1962 The team completely redesigned its logo in 1979 as they still had a red, white and blue theme, but incorporated the state of New Jersey in it in white, with “New Jersey” right next to it. “Nets” appeared in a white wordmark near the bottom of the logo.
