About this deal

Our analysis shows that the Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro (CMW16GX4M2Z3600C18) RAM has an effective frequency of 3600 MHz, which leads us to conclude that it is Good for gaming and professional tools. If you're building a Ryzen machine, it might be a better idea to get CMK16GX4M2Z3200C16. I'd recommend just getting a 2x8 kit and running it in Dual Channel mode. Next Generation Software: Take control in CORSAIR iCUE software and synchronize lighting with other CORSAIR RGB products, including CPU coolers, keyboards and fans.

Finance is only available to permanent UK residents aged >18, subject to status, terms and conditions apply. In our experience, if you're not utilizing your computer for memory-intensive games or video processing applications, you may not reap substantial benefits from using the fastest memory. It's a theory that may seems reasonable but I cannot confirm for sure in any way and would be interesting to understand the difference. The powerful integrated CORSAIR iCUE software brings your system to life with vibrant RGB lighting. You can control and customise dozens of pre-set lighting profiles with a range of user modifiable colours and LED brightness, which will perfectly colour coordinate with your system. I forgot to take a screenshot from Thaiphoon Burner and I had this memory for a weekend only so you have to trust me there is a Micron E-die. CPU-Z is showing only Micron.Going forward I guess I cant have all 4 of these working together ? unless someone knows any settings to try ? The CMK16GX4M2B3200C16 seems to be optimized for Intel boards. It runs at a slightly higher voltage than the CMK16GX4M2Z3200C16 and supports XMP 2.0. The CMK16GX4M2Z3200C16 appears to be optimized for Ryzen. For example, DDR5-5600 has a data rate of 5600 MT/s, an effective frequency of 5600 MHz, and a base frequency of 2800 MHz. I'm sorry to revive an old thread but i'm investigating the issue and I have a theory that i could not confirm or discard as invalid.

So my conclusion is the system doesnt like 2 different chip types even though the RAM models are exactly the sameI specifically want the samsung b-die version (the Vengeance cost ~170€ while others ram modules like G skill Flare X or other modules with samsung b-die chip usually costs 200€+). I do currenly have 2x8gb CMW16GX4M2Z3600C18 running at 3600mhz CL16 19 19 39 and havent encountered any issues This same number in units of MHz is called the "effective frequency." The effective frequency is the base frequency times two because it is double data rate (DDR) RAM.
