About this deal

Durations: I tried to cover the range of previous variations in the Duration concept, while also finding new stuff, though the next-time durations did plenty to give me new stuff.

There are 16 cards in each split pile ( Augurs , Clashes , Forts , Odysseys , Townsfolk , Wizards ) with 4 of each individual card and 10 copies of each of the rest:At the start of your next turn, may play an Action, then draw to 6. I think LastFootnote suggested this. If you play two Quartermasters, they each have their own set of cards. However if you Throne Room a Quartermaster, you just have one set of cards for it, and twice on each of your turns, either add one or take one.

See the Additional rules section for Duration cards in Dominion: Plunder regarding things happening "the next time". Anvil • Watchtower Bishop • Clerk • Investment • Tiara • Monument • Quarry • Worker's Village Charlatan • City • Collection • Crystal Ball • Magnate • Mint • Rabble • Vault • War Chest Hoard Grand Market Bank • Expand • Forge • King's Court Peddler Platinum Colony Cards, until your next turn Moat. Can be rough when one player gets it going. Another version was +1 Buy +2 Cards. Enduring Durations: Cage, Search, Secluded Shrine, Abundance, Flagship, Landing Party, Cutthroat, Quartermaster, Endless Chalice Nimm eine Karte, die bis zu kostet, direkt zur Seite (auf diese Karte) oder nimm eine auf diese Karte gelegte Karte auf deine Hand.At the start of each of your turns for the rest of the game, choose one: Gain a card costing up to , setting it aside on this; or put a card from this into your hand. At first it was just some random cards. Ideas that we could totally test. I tried a few new VP token cards, maybe I'd revisit those (spoilers: those cards all left). I tried several new Victory cards; maybe I'd revisit that theme (I did not). And you know, just tried whatever cards I thought of. In June I tried out Favors: tokens that varied from game to game. I also tried some new Reserve cards, but Reserve cards overlapped heavily with Favors. And in July I tried a split pile with 4 different cards in it and away we go. There was also another new kind of landscape; I liked it but can only fit so much into one expansion. However, abilities that move cards when you gain them can move a card that's gained with Quartermaster. So if you gain a Siren with this, it will still trash itself (unless you trash an Action from your hand). Cellar • Chapel • Moat Harbinger • Merchant • Vassal • Village • Workshop Bureaucrat • Gardens • Militia • Moneylender • Poacher • Remodel • Smithy • Throne Room Bandit • Council Room • Festival • Laboratory • Library • Market • Mine • Sentry • Witch Artisan The first edition of Intrigue was also a standalone game and came with its own set of Basic cards. Second Edition removed the Basic cards, and replaced six Kingdom cards with seven new ones.

Because there are only five copies of Plunder, players will end up with an unequal distribution of copies if the pile empties. In Kingdoms where Plunder is important, this may make winning the split more of a consideration than it is with other cards. If your engine can consistently play three Plunders every turn to your opponent’s two, you’ll outscore them in the long run. When you gain this other than while playing a copy of it, or discard it not in Clean-up, may play it. Trying for make-me-into-Trail. Later on I realized Traits could be stronger than they'd been. So, that earlier Trait with no bad part. It does not spark joy. When you gain or trash a card, may discard this, to trash the gained card or gain the trashed card. Tries hard but doesn't do enough. We’re firmly into the more complex side of Dominion expansions now with Empires, which adds a bit of Roman flavor to the usual medieval theme, with chariot races and gladiators. In terms of new mechanics, the big ones are Debt and Landmarks.
