One thing notable is that the crossover between timbre from dynamic and BA drivers was not noticeable. The BA driver was tuned properly to accompany the overall presentation of the dynamic drivers. Some will lament the move from 2-pin to MMCX connectors, but I find these particular ones to be of high quality and to firmly snap in and out. I really like the upgrade cable included with the Gems.

Music transitions smoothly into the midrange, with no unnatural bumps or dips. Vocals and instruments take a more dominant position in the mix as they aren’t being upstaged by a boosted bass section. Things sound smooth, clear, and well defined, with a moderately intimate presentation. Everyone’s ears are different, so I can’t promise that the OH10 will fit and feel as good in your particular head holes. So there is some risk associated with blindly buying IEMs with this unusually high weight. Overall, I think the iKKO Heimdallr ITB03 is a good step forward for iKKO. IKKO iems have a long shelf live for a reason. The Heimdallr ITB03 didn’t only have listening in mind. This also functions as a good device for HiFi gaming and movie support.
