About this deal

I believe it has something to do that the CMW32GX4M2C3200C16 is optimized for Intel and that maybe there is an issue with the XMP, that the values don't work with an AMD system.

Latency? What latency? With a CAS latency of 16, this kit handles data like a pro gamer handles a controller. It's snappy, responsive, and delivers lightning-fast data transfers. Multitasking becomes a breeze, allowing you to seamlessly switch between applications without missing a beat. If your problem is you can't get your XMP kit to run at XMP frequency then start with JEDEC speeds first (2133 to 2666) with XMP DRAM voltage.Issue is that I can not get my system to run stable when I enable the XMP in BIOS. System runs great at 2133 but as soon as I enable XMP to get the 3200 speed I get random BSOD, sometimes when powering down or when watching YT. MemTest86 shows well over 200 errors after only 2 minutes! When using DRAM Calculator for Ryzen I also discovered their timings more closely matched the "Samsung OEM" profile so that may be the info that might really help you out the most if you use that utility. When I have XMP disabled everything works normally, but in windows system events I have "LiveKernelEvent 141". [this error usually means a hardware error/damage] I wonder if any of you have it in connection with the instability of the XMP profile, and not only... Generally I've had good results when enabling GearDown and disabling PowerDown with both my LPX and RGB kits and Zen+ and Zen2 CPU's. Keeping DRAM voltage near 1.35v seemed to be a sweet spot as using higher voltages didn't seem to have any improving effects for my RGB kit and keeping SOC between 1.0v and 1.1v. CPU: Ryzen 3700x running at 1.358V (Core Performance Boost set to Auto) speed boosts per core to around 4.3Ghz

Latest BIOS Update from GB 10c did not resolve the issue with the XMP profile and BSOD if the timings are not entered manually. Installation is a breeze, thanks to the user-friendly design. It slots into the motherboard like a puzzle piece, and the heat spreader design not only aids in cooling but also adds a touch of futuristic aesthetics to your setup. Returning the RAM-kit. The shop tested it and it worked fine for them. They claim they tested on a x570 board with a 3600X. Corsair Vengeance LPX (2x16GB, CMK32GX4M2B3200C16 ver 4.32). The modules are correctly inserted in slots A2 / B2. Edit: for what's it worth: I reproduced this issue with every BIOS version I tried: F10a, F7b, F5g, F5l,and probably more. Edited November 11, 2019 by DjiezesUnfortunately Thaiphoon Burner has a read error here and reads Samsung B-Dies (Boltzmann, 20nm) but with B-dies timings I can't get the RAM modules to 3200 MHz. Once installed, the performance boost was immediately noticeable. The 3200MHz speed, combined with the low CAS latency of CL16, ensures lightning-fast data transfer and responsiveness. Whether I'm gaming, editing videos, or multitasking, this RAM handles it all effortlessly. I can now run demanding applications smoothly without any lag or slowdown, allowing me to maximize my productivity. Something is clearly not right here. I hope that a future BIOS update will resolve it. But as of now, this kit doesn't work correctly on x570 gigabyte boards. And it is on the QVL, so something is off.

Corsair Vengeance LPX Black 32GB 3200 MHz AMD Ryzen - Scan

My online research has found till now that everyone with hynix chip (RAM version 5.39) have the Intel optimized(B) module while those who owns the samsung b-die (RAM version 4.31) have the AMD Optimized(Z) module. Assuming your chips are the same kind of Samsung as mine (based on version) it may exhibit similar properties to mine. reboot. memtest86. if all good then boot into windows and get your memory settings from Ryzen Master. Prepare for a RAM-tastic journey, fellow geeks, because the Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB DDR4 Kit is about to take your desktop's performance to new dimensions! This kit is a geek's dream come true, and let me tell you why. The design of the Corsair Vengeance LPX is sleek and minimalist, which is right up the alley of any tech-savvy enthusiast. Its low-profile form factor ensures compatibility with a wide range of CPU coolers, giving you the freedom to choose the best cooling solution for your rig without sacrificing memory performance. If you're building a Ryzen machine, it might be a better idea to get CMK16GX4M2Z3200C16. I'd recommend just getting a 2x8 kit and running it in Dual Channel mode. In particular this is a good way to get what your motherboard decides to use by default for termination, cad bus, and misc values. This provides a base point where you know what values already work. This was stable up until this morning, despite several days of it working fine and 600% scope in MEMBench from DRAM Calculator 1.7.3 returning no errors!

I don't know. I haven't been able to confirm what that version really "is" from anywhere. I suspect it's just lower grade b-die.

Low-profile design

Corsair is renowned for its reliability, and this Vengeance LPX kit is no exception. It's built to last, with top-notch quality control measures in place to ensure it stands the test of time. It's a theory that may seems reasonable but I cannot confirm for sure in any way and would be interesting to understand the difference. Any recommendations on how to better test the RAM? As errors never show up on Membench, but manifest in random occasional BSOD's. Corsair's customer support has also been exceptional. They promptly answered my questions and provided helpful guidance whenever I needed it. It's evident that Corsair values their customers and strives to provide the best possible experience. Running stable on 10c with Win 10 v1909, overnight MemTest86 showed zero errors. Edited November 13, 2019 by RBurgundy
