the only reason why i continued reading this series after clearly not really enjoying the first two books is because i am the type of masochist that, unfortunately, has to finish series i start, no matter how dreadful it is. I just felt like something was missing,and I think that's because I found Allie's character really flat and indifferent. I never in a million years expected something like that to happen and yet as much as it broke my heart, I can't help but to admit it did the job of driving the plot where it needed to go. It doesn’t hurt that the soon-to-be mother of his child is beautiful, whip-smart, and keeps him on his toes. Each novel has it's own unique love story and I HIGHLY recommend reading them if you haven't so already.
